Bio

Yanniv Frank is a New York based actor, puppeteer, and graphic designer.

Yanniv has been puppeteering since the age of two when he commandeered his older sister’s Elmo puppet. At age ten, Yanniv started to build his own puppets, first out of any fabric and stuffing lying around the house, progressing to foam and fleece as he got older. Yanniv recently was selected for and took part in Sesame Workshop’s Puppeteer Training Workshop in February 2018.

Additionally, since age seven, Yanniv has participated in a total of thirty-seven theatrical productions both in school and community theatre companies. Some notable roles include Jamie in The Last Five Years (Hunter College), Jesus in Godspell (Macaulay Honors College), Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Riverdale Rising Stars Summer Stock), and the Baker in Into the Woods (Riverdale Rising Stars).

Yanniv is now pursuing his undergraduate degree in Performing and Visual Arts at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and is a student in the CUNY Baccalaureate Program through the CUNY Graduate Center.

Yanniv also works as the graphic designer, website/social media manager, and camp director for Riverdale Rising Stars, a community theatre company in the Bronx.

In his spare time, Yanniv builds and puppeteers puppets for YouTube videos, birthday parties, and theatrical productions (including Into the Woods, Avenue Q, Disaster!, Shrek the Musical, and Annie). He also loves baking (pies especially) and cake decorating.
