Yanniv Frank

Yanniv Frank is a third year Puppet Arts MFA candidate at the University of Connecticut. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the City University of New York’s Macaulay Honors program where he studied Performing and Visual Arts in the CUNY Baccalaureate program for Unique and Interdisciplinary studies with Hunter College as his home campus. As an actor, Yanniv has performed in various educational and professional theaters and received Hunter College’s Theatre Workshop Award for the most promising student actor. Yanniv is a Sesame Workshop trained puppeteer and has generated original content in various styles of puppetry. Yanniv released his debut EP of original music Common Human Soul in June 2021 and plans to release his first full length album As I Am in summer 2022. Yanniv is also pursuing an online certificate in music and video production from Berklee College of Music. Yanniv earned his first television writing credit this year for his work as the head writer on Feel Your Best Self, a series of shorts produced by the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry and the Collaboratory on School and Child Health that will be nationally distributed in the summer of 2022.
